Where can I get Umbra mods? ›

These Mods are acquired automatically at the end of the Quest “The Sacrifice.” They also come with a distinct Polarity type that requires rare Umbra Forma to Polarize on your Weapons and Warframes.

The Umbral mod set can only be equipped on Warframes, and provides bonuses to their individual mods when all mods in the set are used on the same Warframe. With 2 equipped, the mods will receive a 25% increase to their effects. Equipping all three mods will give 75% increase to their bonuses.

Forma that can apply the UMBRA polarity. This shape-altering component is fundamental to Orokin construction. Allows you to change the polarity of a mod slot on a Warframe or Melee Weapon to UMBRA polarity and then resets their affinity to Unranked. This can only be used on max Rank Warframes and Melee Weapons.

The set bonus for Umbral Intensify increases the Ability Strength given by the mod by 25% of mod's value when using 2 set pieces and 75% when using 3. At max rank with full set bonus, Umbral Intensify grants an Ability Strength increase of 77%, and increases Sentient damage resistance by 19.25%.

The blueprint for Excalibur Umbra is given to players upon completing the first mission of The Sacrifice quest, and the ability to build the Warframe is granted on completing the second mission. Unlike other Warframes, Umbra requires no further components and is crafted entirely from the single blueprint.

Excalibur Umbra is the only quest Warframe that cannot be purchased from the Market or be sold.

Place all remaining Umbral Gem on the pedestal to open a secret door to the Inner Sanctum – a pool, leading to the Shadowfell. This is a point of no return, so be sure to save your game before proceeding, as you won't be able to return to Act 1 at all once you enter the Shadowfell!

The Sacrifice

The quest is unlocked by completing the Apostasy Prologue. Once unlocked, the quest can be started from the Codex, and the cinematic will begin once you go to your Personal Quarters and interact with 'the helmet'.

Umbra can be upgraded with the Arcane Blacksmith perk and an ebony ingot at a grindstone and also benefits from the Daedric Smithing perk.

Using Void Sling will stun Excalibur Umbra, allowing Transference to be used on him. In this memory, the man and Ballas are playing a game of Komi. After a few rounds, Ballas commends the man's heroism and points out a commissioned portrait of his servitude as a Dax.

What to use Umbra forma on? ›

If you want a "meta" answer, any frame that benefits from Power Strength, Health, or Armor are good choices for Umbral Forma. The best candidates benefit from all three, like Khora or Saryn.

Umbral Veil is a relic in Ashen. Effect: You can survive a single killing blow, but your appearance becomes that of a wraith. Reset upon reaching a Ritual Stone.

Archon Mods are alternative versions of Warframe Mods. They have higher maximum drain than their original counterparts but with stats equivalent to their primed counterpart (if any), and possess unique effects related to Warframe abilities.

Umbral Obsidian is an Attunement item with the primarily used to unlock the Shadowcast attunement. Secondary uses include being a crafting ingredient, consumable, and to spawn Primadon.

They can normally be obtained from Nightwave Cred offerings, but some drop from The Silver Grove specters, Noxes and Arbitrations. They are untransmutable.

Every rotation of endless missions (e.g. Defense) will offer a reward chosen randomly from a drop table, which may include mods. Completing a Nightmare Mode mission rewards a Nightmare mod. Completing quest missions may reward a mod.

Sources: Umbra Scrap is obtained by deconstructing Umbra equipment using a Scrapper or smelting it in a furnace. Umbra equipment can only be found in certain dungeon chests in The Aurorian. 9 Umbra Scrap can be crafted into an Umbra Ingot, the main form of the material used for crafting.
